Etzler Franchise Consulting (“EFC”) can help you enter the world of business ownership by guiding you through the pros and cons of self employment, of buying an existing business versus a new start-up and the merits of buying a franchise. EFC can also provide consultation on developing your business through franchising. Franchise Consulting
If you have decided to buy a franchise business, you already know that your main objective is to find the franchise that’s right for YOU. With over 1000 franchises to choose from in Canada, this task can seem overwhelming at first.
With his 15 years of franchise development experience, Claus Etzler can guide you through the process of selecting the right franchise business for yourself. EFC can also conduct research and investigation of a franchise business you have already chosen but want to be sure is right for you before you commit. In either case, EFC will invite you to take the following steps as part of the overall assessment:
- Performance profiling and self assessment of your needs and abilities as it relates to your business aspirations;
- Selecting franchises that are a fit with your performance profiling and financial resources;
- Research on franchise company(s), including in-depth interviews and searches, providing you with essential information not easily available to the general public;
- Assistance with your franchise application and coaching you through your interviews with the franchisor, assuming you meet the required qualifications;
- Market assessment or research for selected location, including profiling of local market, if applicable.
As franchise experts, we know what to look for, where to find it and how to make sense of the information we collect. We will help you understand why certain opportunities are better than others. You will be provided with on-going support and education throughout your entire investigation that keeps you focused and allows you to make a truly informed decision about the franchise or business opportunity at hand.
A quick note on franchise consultants that promote their services as being free to you. These consultants collect their fees from the franchisor after they have signed up the franchise buyer. The downside is that you are offered only a limited selection of franchises to choose from, typically companies that pay the consultants their finder’s fees. The companies that pay these fees are usually franchises that are less known or otherwise have difficulty finding franchises on their own and rely on these consultants to promote their brands to potential buyers.
Etzler Franchising Consulting is not in the business of representing franchise companies and is not a real estate broker; which means we always work in your best interests. EFC prides itself in being able to provide professional and unbiased consulting services at very competitive prices. |
